Behind Ponente
Ponente is led by two founders with complementary backgrounds, combining creative direction and production expertise to deliver refined live entertainment experiences.
Francesca Confortini
Francesca Confortini is the founder of Ponente Entertainment, a company that combines her passions: organising events, singing and working in the Italian environment abroad, and in the international environment in Italy. With an entrepreneurial mindset and creative vision, Francesca started Ponente Entertainment to create experiences that combine art, music and culture, with an eye for quality and authenticity.
In addition to her role within Ponente Entertainment, Francesca is a jazz singer with an international career. Born in Italy, she brings her deep and versatile voice to every performance. With a background in musical theatre and a wealth of international experience, she has performed in prestigious venues and festivals throughout Europe, also releasing her own original music with her quintet. She is a sought-after session singer, her collaborations on projects for other artists, film and TV are numerous, and she has also shared the stage with illustrious names such as Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Rod Stewart and Katie Melua.
Both in leading Ponente Entertainment and in her performances, Francesca conveys elegance, passion and musicality, making her a leading figure in both the business and artistic worlds.

Daniele Antenucci
Daniele Antenucci is a highly regarded artistic director, involved in organising music events in various venues in London. Thanks to his vast experience in the world of music, he carefully selects innovative artists and projects, creating programming that combines emerging talents and established figures from the music scene. His artistic vision, which ranges from jazz to pop to experimental music, helps to make the venues he directs a true benchmark for live music.
In addition to organising musical events, Daniele also organises international festivals featuring professional dancers from all over the world. These events offer a unique fusion of live music and dance, creating an immersive and impactful experience for the audience.
As a drummer, Daniele graduated with honours from the prestigious Drum Tech in London, and has collaborated with top international artists such as the Ayoub Sisters, Imaani and Beverly Skeete and many others. His talent and versatility have led him to play on major stages, including the Glastonbury festival.

How Ponente was born
In September 2021, London opened a new haute cuisine venue with live music and destined to become a mainstay of Mayfair nightlife with an Italian flavour, Bardo St James.
Luca Maggiora, owner of Bardo, the historic Tramp Club and various nightclubs in the city, played a central role in the birth of Ponente Entertainment.
He entrusted them with curating the music programming for the venue, which had grown in prominence to become one of the most significant live music destinations in the UK.
From this experience Ponente Entertainment was born, first as an organisation based mainly on musicians in London, then as a reality on the market for international events in Italy and Italian events abroad.
